If you haven’t heard or thought off exfoliating your lips before, you are not alone. In fact, most people often only think about hydrating the lips. However, exfoliation is an important part of lip care, simply because your lips don’t have sebaceous glands to keep them moisturized. When you do exfoliate your lips, I would suggest doing so only twice maybe three times a week a max.

Here’s 3 reasons why you should start exfoliating with lip scrubs:

1. Exfoliating your lips make them look exceptionally juicy and healthy.

Exfoliating your lips will get rid of the dead skin on them, make them softer, reduce the fine lines that appear usually on the bottom lip and make them look exceptionally juicy and healthy. It’s especially important for us to exfoliate our lips because we put so many different lipsticks and lip glosses on them that can contain various different chemical ingredients.

2. Lip scrub eliminates the impurities, dust, dirt.

Lip scrubs exfoliate the dirt, the pollution present in the environment goes inside the skin tissues and harms the lips badly. Moreover, the weather affects the lips as well and turn them chapped, that is why exfoliating the lips is important. Lip scrub eliminates the impurities, dust, dirt and provides the moisture and nourishment to the skin as well.

3. Lip scrubs keeps the lips moisturized.

Lip scrub works on the lips completely in order to make lips healthy and beautiful. After eliminating the impurities the lip scrub provides deep moisture to the lips and makes them soft, smooth and plump. Tissues of the lips skin are delicate that needs the moisture to stay smooth, lip scrub works as not only as a cleanser but also as a moisturizer which keeps the lips nourished.
